Chilanga Riding School

I had the huge privilege of meeting an Amazing Woman a year or so ago.
Chilanga Riding School for the Disabled is a Non Profit Organisation and Sally Kluth gives free riding therapy to nearly 200 disabled children weekly. Many of these children come from economically disadvantaged homes and Sally also collects and distributes food and clothing for these families.
I was approached to do the Photography for Kathy Ashwell, a Folk Guitar Teacher from Somerset West who was working on her new album, and one of her reasons for making the album was to firstly dedicate it to Chilanga, a place very close to her heart and  Sally's work in helping raise funds for their school.
In recent weeks the children who ride at the school have been under threat of losing their community centre (I refer to the article below.) For more information on Chilanga Riding School and Kathy Ashwell please visit:

It was an humbling experience seeing all the volenteers working with the children and the looks on the little ones faces while they were riding.
